My name is Mona Sorensen and I am a Danish/ Indian global nomad passionate about sharing the wonders of Running and Sea Swimming with as many people as I can. I am originally from Denmark where I grew up close to the North Sea, but it was during my childhood in Tanzania that I really discovered the magic of sea-water through my daily encounters with the beautiful Indian Ocean.
I now live in Hove (by the sea) where I swim and run as often as I can. I am also a qualified Humanistic Integrative Therapist (BACP Registered) and England Athletics Leader in Running Fitness.
I set up my own Wellness Practice a couple of years ago, with the aim of being able to offer both Therapy and Run Coaching to clients. This has evolved over time to a combined body-mind approach in the form of Running Therapy and Walk & Talk Therapy.
I am so excited to be part of Run Talk Run as I truly believe in the power of running, but I also believe in the power of community, being in the outdoors, and the huge benefits physical movement has on our mental health, be it running, walking, jogging, swimming, cycling or any other sport!
So do join me for our weekly catch-ups down on the seafront in Hove.
